duuuude lol Im sad I missed it lok anyone get any good replays or any good moments / passes? I know racing the oval can be uneventful for most of the race, but when there's wheel to wheel racing, that's when its exciting
When is the next one scheduled for? now that I know the time differnce, I know what time to make available for it
lmfao dudes I know, we both suck, neither him or me should be rapping but wasn't the first part effiun hilarious? lmfao I dont even think he was rapping, he was like talking to himself for a minute too @ dopey xD
lol LFS that one was funny, no beat just clapping lmao, RC10's was really funnny lmao xD I think the cowboy won that 1 for sure against the guy in the blue suit xD
Yeah haz, it's just one of those crazy topics that everyone can have a good chuckle over I was laughing so hard when it was first made.
lolllzzz!! seeeeee that is the point... nobody gets it, they wonder why it doesn't do anything... some people would try to click many times not knowing its not real.
you should get a Renault "Le Car", then hook it up with nitrous, and throw some dubs on that bish!!!!
lmfao0o0ooo!!!! joking but that would be hilarious!!!! xD
for a first car, best one to buy is a cheap one to learn to drive on thats also easy to fix, and gets good mileage. Trust me, first cars always take a beating, if you buy a brand new car and something happens, it will upset you a lot more then if it was a bucket. (bucket, beater, hoopty = cheap car) Also, insurance rates are waaaaaay higher for new drivers in a brand new car, sometimes 2 to 3 times the cost then a new driver in a used car.
Once you get more seat time / experience behind the wheel, you'll have more money saved and by then most likely you'll know exactly what car you want to buy.
lol booooooo they cut it off... AOL is being some haters lol, they bought userplane just so myspace couldnt use it, and any chat now made that isn't there's they block thewy dont even use it, they just dont want to share it.
The NSX has less weight, and somewhat shorter gear ratios that are set a bit closer together then the Ferrari 360, which has the higher top speed of the 2 cars. I'm not too surprised the NSX beat out a 360. lol
lol don't trip, inspiration is all around, you're not being emo enough lol joking bro, but yeah I'd say look into urban artwork, that's one of my muses, works like a charm too! Whoever did this tag got some mad skillz tooo, I was like whoa when I seen the pic.. lol it looks 3d almost... - sebby
Yup, the first test gradient skins CF pattern had a diagonal pattern, I already fixed that part so it all looks uniform. Sadly though due to limited resources, I have to stick to making them 1024x1024 for now. I made more templates though so it's much easier just cutting patterns/textures to size and piecing them together. It's just tricky now getting the flames to blend over fenders/hood/front faschia. Eh, details details xD.
OLD PATTERN
EAT SH*T AND DIE FZR
BLUES F2 FXR
NEW PATTERN
REDS Ferrari FZR
REDS F2X FXR
REDS BLANK XRR
Old diagonal pattern plate
New CF pattern plate
The templates I made can also be resized 200% and serve as a baseplate
for adding texture plates with ease.
Although this movie has been out for a while, it is still extremely hard to come by, and pretty much all the clips you see on youtube are "chopped n' screwed", or remixed to some Fast n' Furious song like wtf?!?!?
Finally there's a complete version of the movie on YouTube, in Hi-Definition and also unedited in it's original form, with no subtitles to degrade picture quality. No more 5 minute clips with the wrong music, or half the movie with no ending. If you're an Initial D fan, but haven't seen the movie yet, or even have seen it, and just wanna watch it again, now you can!!!
The only drawback is the lag in sound, about 1-2 seconds, and it's in Cantonese, which was the original language upon it's box office release in Hong Kong, and Mccau. I love the Initial D series, and am more then happy to finally share a decent copy of the movie with the rest of the world!!! Enjoy!
ok, I added Shuto Kousoku parts 3 and 4 as well to youtube. They have been around since the 90's, but only 1 was on Youtube that was the complete movie, part 5 (MAX), which is also the best one. Parts 2, 3, and 4 were also good, and I loved them just because Keiichi Tsuchiya drifts the R32 in all 3 of those movies. In the 5th movie, he doesn't drift the R32 anymore, he switched to the Acura NSX.
All in all, the whole SK Trials movie series is pretty good. Part 3 was too short, only like 1 hour, and part 4 was too long, almost over 2 hours. Part 2 is my favorite besides part 5, it has good music if you like jpop, and watching Keiichi drift the R32 @ the Hi-Land Sendai track, and in the dirt, for like half of the movie, is definitely what I love about it.
The initial D Live action movie I also uploaded is in Hi-Definition, without any subtitles to ruin the image quality. It's the only one that is the complete movie, there are others uploaded already, but none in english and most don't use the actual soundtrack, but my sound does lag by about 1-2 seconds. I have plans to fix that delay in the future.
lol, before I saw SK, I was not into jpop, but after, I could not get enough of it!!! xD Here's the music page with both theme songs, I made a looooong time ago... xD
ok, I'm putting together a second follow-up tutorial, that explains how to use MS-Paint to add grafix over a skin that is solid, where you can't see where the body is. Here's an example that only took about 2.5 hours, from scratch to finish.
yup, agreed, the dialogue/storyline is terrible, thank god there's only like 15 minutes of it out of the whole 2 hours, leaving about 1hr & 45rmin of action, which is what counts most!
Spinning out in the FJR1600 @ 90mph in turn 10, Infineon Raceway, back in 2002. I came within feet of the retaining wall @ the base of the drag racing tower. The FJR has stock tires, and when I went through the chicane, I was throttle greedy, turned 1 way, didn't slow down enough, and when I turned the opposite way, the weight transferred right as I hit the gas and whipped the car around like a toy.
I had my arms in the 'X' crash position with both feet hard on the brake pedal, praying to stop before I slammed into something. After I stopped in the sand trap, the car was still halfway blocking the chicane and stalled out. I was afraid another car would T-bone me...
I kept pumping the gas like a mad man, flipping the fuel pump switch on and off to get it pumping again. After about 5 seconds, I heard the rapid ticking in the engine, meaning the pump was back on. I immediately clicked on the battery switch to the starter, and it started with a sputter, then I slowly drove out onto the track and back into the pits.
It was not until that very moment, that I learned to respect the car. It's one thing to push the limits of the car, and quite another thing to exceed those same limits. Even the best drivers can make mistakes, like Dale Earndhart Jr., who ate turn 8a in a Corvette.
Shuto Kousoku Trial Series, a 5-part movie series produced by the drift godfather Keiichi Tsuchiya, was first released in the early 1990's. Cars ranging from the R30, R31, R32, R33, 240sx, 300z, Supras from the late 80's to the RZ, and even the Acura NSX!!!
As of present day, there are 4 full movies - parts 2, 3, 4, & 5. If I can get my hands on the original part 1 movie, then that one will be available as well.
Also coming soon, is the complete Initial D Live Action Movie, with all the cars from the Night Kids, Red Suns, Emporer, and the Akina Speed Stars, as they battle over Mt. Akina to see who is King of Touge!!!
To me, Japanese racing movies were always, and still are, a million times better then the Fast n Furious series. FnF has way too much dialogue that really has no place in racing movies, which is one thing the Shuto Kousoku series has little of.
All I can say is, watch them, that is if you really are a Skyline fanatic, then you'll see exactly how much better they are then FnF, and will probably change your whole image of what a great racing movie is, and should be!
A few websites I always go through always have new material, such as:
http://free.napster.com -
quality is bad, but if you need a name of a song, free napster has a huge selection with nearly every song ever made.
http://www.imeem.com -
best quality sound, excellent selection for your style S14, lots of R&B, old skool hip hop, and many others as well, imeem is also where I download the FLV files and convert to MP3's, usually in 320kbps
http://www.soundclick.com -
just about anything and everything from instrumentals to unreleased songs, only thing is since they are strict on copyrights, some of the songs are purposely mislabeled as to avoid being deleted. You can also download like 70% of the songs, without even signing up, with 1 simple click
I <3 music too, so I know exactly what you mean, at times the same songs get repetitive, so hopefully these sites will help satisfy your cravings! xD
Thanks guys for writing the Iframes code, I have a better idea of what it is now. I also noticed the scroll issue, if you have a mouse with 3rd button as a wheel/scroll, then the LFS flash object by itself can use it, however when in some different browsers and websites, I just use the flash "zoom" option when you right-click on "settings". That's the only way I found to be able to zoom once embedded in websites.
Thanks again for the Iframes codes guys, it's greatly appreciated, until now I didn't really understand how it worked. Kudos!
eh, racing = competition, there's always bound to be disagreements, if there wasn't, would it still drive you with such passion? xD In racing and life, the real battle is not with others, it is with yourself, and is about exceeding your own personal best efforts.
